📌 Diving into Key Milestones
Hello and welcome from TinkerSpace!
Navigating through this year, it's essential to recognize and appreciate the endeavors that have come to fruition and anticipate what's next on our innovation horizon. Here’s an expanded dive into our most notable moments:
AI for Justice:
The OpenNyAI Maker Residency From late July to early August, TinkerSpace formed a groundbreaking alliance with OpenaNyAI. But what's OpenaNyAI? It's a progressive initiative, mirroring the ethos of organizations like OpenAI, focused on developing ethical and transparent artificial intelligence solutions for the public domain. The “OpenNyAI Maker Residency” saw a melting pot of technologists, legal experts, and justice champions over five days. This collective of over 30 global frontrunners pondered on meshing AI's power with our justice system to enable faster, more equitable, and far-reaching access.
TinkerSpace & Nvidia:
Pioneering New Frontiers Our HackerSpace was electrified with the incorporation of the Nvidia RTX 4000 SFF, a generous contribution from Clusterdev. But why is this a game-changer? Nvidia, globally recognized for pushing boundaries in graphics and AI processing, has outdone itself with the RTX 4000 SFF. This powerful GPU doesn't just facilitate high-end computations; it inspires. It has become the foundation for projects ranging from AI-driven imagery to intelligent chatbot designs at TinkerSpace.
Dynamic Display Revolution, Thanks to Yan's technological artistry, TinkerSpace TV transitioned from a static to a dynamic paradigm. Gone are the days of cumbersome uploads and reloads. Now, content seamlessly updates in real-time, transforming the way we disseminate information.
Figma Hack Night:
The Confluence of Design & Programming On August 6th, 18 dynamic teams showcased their prowess at the Figma Plugin Hackathon, presenting a range of innovative plugins from automation utilities to exciting third-party integrations.
The Third Sat Hacknight:
