π’ Kolaambi #5: Comeback is always better than Setback!
Newsletter with all things tech, people and communities from TinkerHub Foundation.
Hola ππ»ππΌππ½ππΎππΏ
We are back after a well-rested hibernation - for good, really πΆβπ«οΈ π€πΌ
Time to celebrate? Yeah, we think so too ππΎ
Hereafter, weβll be dropping by every month to < bless your feed> with some cool stuff around tech, people, and community.Β
But wait, hereβs a quick recap of EVERYTHING that happened last year cuz we do not want you to miss out! ( 2021 April to 2022 March )
We saw some terrific growth in numbers π from some very impactful programs in our last financial year. This is indeed huge for us. We started our journey on 2014 - just a bunch of do-gooders & now weβre a strong non-profit organization with 71 campus chapters and 12927 members.
In fact, we had to chuck Whatsapp/ Telegram and move to Discord to bring all our community members together.
We are also very proud of having conducted several initiatives exclusively for women this year. The pandemic period unleashed our creative side more which resulted in events that got largely complemented. More on this later!
It doesnβt stop here:
Last year we did a total of 550 events and our engagement grew to 44496 learners with 3919 projects developed.
The best part is that we brewed 43 career opportunities for our members with engagement from over 35 companies & also and bagged the highest CTC as 7.5LPA for one of our members.
We did notable engagements with partners including FOSS United, KSUM, I Lab, and E&Y.Β Β Β
We are now 3 full-time employees, 7 Fellows, and 34 interns to move TinkerHub forward.
Check out our Tinkerhub Impact (2021-2022) for more details. ππππππ
