Thanks for reading! What should be the topic next month?
Here are some notes for myself:
1. I want to focus on depth rather than breadth. One of my favorite newsletters is Filter Coffee, and what I admire about it is that they cover a few topics in great detail. https://filtercoffee.substack.com/
2. Need to figure out what to do with the extra content from each edition.
We are incredibly grateful for the time, love, and intention you put into designing the OASIS website. What you said about community and building not because someone asked, but because you care is exactly what we’re trying to cultivate at OASIS.
Thank you for being a part of this journey and for showing what open source and open -hearted contribution really looks like.
More power to you, and to all those quietly holding things together because they care.
reading this felt like catching up after one of those long gaps we sometimes have and yet nothing really changes. The bond, the values, the way you care all these shows in every word here. Loved the way you brought out how care isn’t just a feeling but a force that builds, shapes, and sustains communities. Proud to see the same thoughtful, intentional person I knew back in 2008 still pushing boundaries and doing meaningful work. Keep showing up. Keep caring. You inspire more than you know....
if fellow readers are interested, here's a beautiful conversation with jony ive and patrick collison. and how care and compassion translating through what we build.

3. Keep the newsletter shorter.
4. Can we invite a guest writer soon?
having a guest writer sounds fun!
